A handmade stoneware bowl with a wide, sweeping form and a warm shino glaze. Thrown in crank clay and reduction fired, it has a naturally speckled surface, with soft swirls of smoky blue-grey drifting across a creamy, peachy ground. The unglazed foot has turned a rich rust-brown in the kiln, which gives the piece a grounded, earthy finish.

Reduction firing and shino glazes are unpredictable by nature, so every bowl is one of a kind and the colour and speckle will vary slightly.
