Service Description
A focused introductory session where you will learn the fundamentals of pottery on the wheel. Under expert guidance, you will learn to centre clay, create a cup, a bowl and a plate. You will learn to trim and turn your pieces and get them ready for bisque firing. Use of slip and textures for decorating, underglazes and glazing techniques will be demonstrated. You will have the option to fire up to 6 small to medium sized pieces. All materials supplied. This workshop provides a peaceful, small-group environment perfect for beginners and improvers, it's a great activity with friends. Gift a class and come give the wheel a whirl. 6:30-8:30pm on Tuesday

Full payment is taken at booking. Single classes, tasters and workshops: move your booking to another date with at least 48 hours' notice; with less notice, or if you don't attend, the session is non-refundable. 6-week courses: full refund or transfer with 14+ days' notice, transfer or studio credit with 7–13 days' notice, no refund with less than 7 days. Packages: use within the stated period; move a booked session with 48+ hours' notice; cancel within 14 days of purchase for a refund of unused sessions. You're welcome to send a friend in your place. To cancel, email pots@kensingtonpottery.com. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.
